Tips and tricks for removing tartar at home

Tartar is a yellow deposit that usually appears when the dental plaque is not removed in time. It is very uncomfortable and bad looking, therefore most of us usually consult a dentist in order to solve this matter.   • Hydrogen peroxide

Wash your mouth for one minute with a mixture formed of ½ cup of water and 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide, the cleanse your mouth with water.

  • Baking soda

Combine 1 tbsp of baking soda with ½ tsp of salt and put some paste on a wet toothbrush, then brush your teeth as usual for about 5 minutes.

  • Mouth wash

Use this cleaner every two days in order to prevent bacteria from gathering into your mouth.

  • Dental pick.

It is meant to remove the tartar from between your teeth, but you need to be very careful when you use it, so that you don’t harm your gums.

  • Cheese

Consume aged cheese, such as Cheddar or Swiss, as it protects your teeth from plaque and tartar.

  • Tomatoes and strawberries

Rich in vitamin E, the two ingredients keep away bacteria and plaque. All you have to do is rub a sliced tomato or strawberry on your teeth for several minutes, then clear your mouth with baking soda and water.

Tricks that keep your mouth clean:

  • Use dental floss;
  • Rub your teeth with orange peel every time before going to bed, without rinsing;
  • Use saliva to clean your mouth;
  • Use a soft brush and vertical motions, covering the space that separates the space between your gums and your teeth.
